Pune experienced significant waterlogging and traffic disruptions following heavy monsoon rains. Flooded roads and inundated basements affected numerous neighborhoods across the city. Heavy rainfall also caused road closures and damaged infrastructure in Pune district. Emergency teams responded to numerous complaints and assisted affected residents. A major rescue operation was launched after a garbage mound collapsed at a waste-to-energy plant.
