Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) has commenced 85% power supply to Jharkhand from its first 800 MW unit, marking a significant step in the 4,000 MW supercritical thermal power project. The unit began commercial operation on November 5, with subsequent units and phase-2 development underway.
