The Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway near Karnaprayag has been closed due to falling debris and constant rainfall. Efforts are underway to clear the blockage caused by an avalanche in Chamoli district. 33 out of 55 trapped workers have been rescued, with search ongoing for the remaining 22.
