Students at Kolkata’s Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) have refused to leave the campus despite a 24-hour vacate order, vowing to continue their sit-in during the Durga Puja holidays. They are seeking Vice-Chancellor Santosh Ajmera’s resignation and action over alleged campus violence. The institute has suspended academic activities in two wings until November 13.
