Uttar Pradesh has significantly boosted its farmer support by increasing the State Advisory Price (SAP) for sugarcane by Rs 30 per quintal for the 2025-26 season. This marks the highest hike since 2017, raising the price to Rs 390 for common varieties and Rs 400 for upgraded ones.
