Chandigarh Police apprehended three individuals in connection with a suspected improvised explosive device. A firearm and other materials were also recovered from the apprehended persons. An FIR has been registered, and a thorough investigation into the matter is now underway. Security arrangements at the site have been significantly tightened following the recovery. Investigative agencies are currently examining the recovered items as the probe progresses.
