A gas leak from a corroded, unattended tank near Gangadham Chowk in Pune hospitalised 26 people, including two fire brigade officials, due to poly aluminium chloride fumes. Residents of Saibabanagar experienced breathlessness and other symptoms. The tank belonged to a chemical supplier, and a case has been registered against him and his manager for negligence.
