Tragedy struck on the Trichy-Chennai National Highway early Monday when a 28-year-old man lost his life after his two-wheeler was hit by a car linked to a Tamil Nadu minister. The driver, Chinna Agni, has been arrested for negligent driving. The minister was reportedly ahead in a private vehicle with family. It is revealed that the victim was heading home from a temple festival at the time of the accident.
