Mainpal Dhilla, a gangster who had evaded Indian authorities, recently married his Cambodian partner Meta Chan. After being on the run since 2018, he was extradited to India from Cambodia in 2025. Dhilla spent years living a new life in Cambodia, where he established a nightclub and had children with Chan. He was granted a brief parole to solemnize the marriage before returning to prison.
