After becoming the first Indian judoka to win a CWG gold medal, the Uttar Pradesh Police is set to promote her from Sub-Inspector to Deputy Superintendent of Police. Speaking to TimesofIndia.com, Asmita dedicated the honour to her late father and thanked the force for its unwavering support throughout her journey.
