A Gujarat man, Rakesh Ehagaban-Patel, was tragically shot and killed while managing a motel in Pittsburgh after investigating gunshots. This marks the second recent killing of an Indian-origin individual at a US motel, following a similar incident in Dallas last month. The suspect, Stanley Eugene West, was apprehended after a shootout with police, leaving him and a detective injured.
