Army seeks to counter IEDs by procuring modern bomb detectors & 13 containment vehicles

The Indian Army is planning a significant upgrade of its counter-IED and night-fighting capabilities. It aims to procure 350 portable explosive detectors and 13 specialised bomb containment vehicles. These portable systems will enhance the ability to identify explosive materials safely without contact. The containment vehicles are designed to minimize risk while transporting explosive devices.
