In 2021, Arnold Schwarzenegger donated $250,000 to Village for Vets to help provide temporary shelters for homeless veterans in Los Angeles. Before Christmas, 25 tiny shelters were installed at the VA campus in West Los Angeles. Each provided a bed, climate control, electricity and a locking door, giving veterans who had been living on the streets a safer place to stay while moving towards stable housing.
