Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced recruitment exams scheduled for February 1, 2027. The exams will aim to fill more than 5,700 vacancies in six different government departments. Assam Police will offer the highest number of positions, totaling 2,236 vacancies, followed by the Forest Department with 1,307 openings. Candidates will have three full months to prepare and apply for these positions.
