Three hours with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was enough to know Ubisoft hasn’t phoned this one in. The Caribbean looks sharper, Edward Kenway finally has a fight worth showing up for, and a new shipwright named Lucy steals the demo outright. The Freedom Cry cut still stings, but everything else points to a remake that knows exactly what it wants to be.
