The Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal has taken a fresh turn after fired NFL reporter Crissy Froyd alleged on “The Howard Eskin Show” that people in the industry knew about their relationship for at least a decade. Froyd, who says she lost her USA Today job for speaking out, offered no evidence for the claim but repeated it emphatically. The scandal, which began in April with published photographs, led to Russini’s resignation from The Athletic. Froyd has also alleged a wider culture of unreported relationships between NFL journalists and team staff.
