Central Crime Branch officers arrested a gunrunner from Madhya Pradesh recently. The accused, Janjir alias Dinesh Patidar, manufactured and sold country-made pistols illegally. He was apprehended after a city businessman confessed to buying a weapon from him. Police developed an informant and located Patidar after he went into hiding. His house served as an illegal pistol manufacturing unit, and materials were seized.
