Kadugodi police have launched a murder investigation into the death of six-year-old Vennela, with her mother, advocate P Priyanka, and her friend Mohan G Mahalingappa booked for murder. The child’s father alleges they killed Vennela to be together, with inconsistencies in the mother’s account raising suspicions. Mohan has been remanded to custody, while Priyanka remains untraceable.
