Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation is launching the second phase of bio-mining for 9 lakh metric tonnes of legacy waste at Bhuasuni. This initiative aims to process a total of 21 lakh metric tonnes, reclaiming land and addressing past waste dumping. The process, expected to take at least two years, will involve segregating and treating the accumulated waste.
