Border encroachment crackdown intensifies in Rajasthan; religious structures, madrasas demolished within 50-km security zone

In a bold initiative aimed at securing its borders, authorities have embarked on an extensive anti-encroachment operation within a 50 km radius of the India-Pakistan border, specifically targeting areas in Rajasthan’s Barmer and Jaisalmer districts. This campaign has resulted in the demolition of over six unauthorized religious structures and madrasas, alongside the issuance of more than 300 notices to alleged encroachers.
