A five-member Brazilian Football Confederation delegation inspected Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium ahead of the October 3 India-Brazil friendly. The officials reviewed the pitch, training areas, dressing rooms, toilets and hygiene facilities. West Bengal Sports Minister Indranil Khan said they were satisfied with preparations. Brazil, ranked fifth globally, will face India in the country’s biggest-ever football fixture.
