A Rs 2,077.18 crore project will four-lane a key Siliguri Corridor highway. This upgrade will strengthen connectivity to Northeast India and neighboring countries. The project includes bridges and elephant underpasses for safer wildlife movement. Congestion is expected to ease in Bagdogra and surrounding areas after completion. Faster movement of local produce to markets will be facilitated by this development.
