Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay announced a complete waiver for crop loans up to Rs 75,000. A tiered relief structure offers Rs 75,000 for loans between Rs 75,000 and Rs 1 lakh. Loans exceeding Rs 1 lakh will receive Rs 35,000 in relief. This decision provides Rs 953.06 crore in state funding and benefits 1.38 lakh additional farmers.
