Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu is currently moving northwest over the Bay of Bengal. The storm is about 260km from Chennai and is affecting parts of Andhra Pradesh with rainfall. It is expected to make landfall between Nellore and Narsapur late Monday night. Murasu is predicted to bring strong winds of 100-110 kmph upon landfall. Precautions are being taken in the affected coastal regions as the storm approaches.
