In Medchal-Malkajgiri district, a train incident resulted in the deaths of at least 195 sheep. The owner estimated that around 375 sheep died when the flock strayed onto railway tracks. Reports indicate that stray dogs may have caused the disturbance which led them to flee. Authorities are conducting investigations and postmortem examinations to assess the full extent of the loss.
