Detroit Tigers GM Jeff Greenberg withdraws his name from consideration for a new Detroit Red Wings vacant position

The Detroit Red Wings are on the hunt for a new general manager after Jeff Greenberg opted out of the role. Late on Monday, Greenberg, who is currently the GM of the Detroit Tigers, communicated his withdrawal to the Red Wings. He previously held the assistant GM position with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022.
