A court clerk was arrested for allegedly accepting a Rs 15 lakh bribe, claiming the money was for an additional sessions judge. The clerk reportedly told a litigant to “do something for Saheb” to get a favorable order. The judge, Ejazuddin S Kazi, is now absconding and accused of an active role in the crime.
