Oman’s Ministry of Labour has issued Ministerial Decision No. 602/2025, introducing major reforms to the work licensing system. The decision extends permit validity to 24 months, reduces and exempts fees for specific groups, supports civil and humanitarian organisations, caps penalties, and simplifies procedures, strengthening labour market stability and protecting worker and employer rights across the Sultanate.
