A fire erupted in a 16-storey Thane building’s electrical duct on Sunday morning. Emergency responders swiftly evacuated approximately seventy to eighty residents from the apartment complex. A man trapped inside an elevator was also safely rescued by fire personnel. The blaze, believed to be from a short circuit, was quickly brought under control. No casualties were reported after the successful and safe evacuation efforts.
