Following his uncle’s death, Omar Abdullah says Delhi protest programme is on, party seeks meeting with President Droupadi Murmu

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah confirmed the National Conference’s Delhi protest will proceed as planned. The party plans to travel to Delhi on July 19 for a protest on July 20. They are awaiting permission for Jantar Mantar and will decide next steps if denied. The National Conference has also sought an appointment with the President regarding statehood restoration.
