Andhra Pradesh has achieved remarkable progress in literacy, exceeding the national benchmark and striving for total literacy by September 2027 through the Akshara Andhra initiative. So far, approximately twenty-five lakh individuals have acquired literacy skills through this program. Additionally, the state is dedicated to reintegrating out-of-school children into formal education while also improving the overall learning conditions and welfare of students in schools.
