Gwalior temple tragedy: When mine crew and its machines became pilgrims’ lifeline

Pilgrims were injured when an overturned truck crushed them at the Sheetla Mata temple fair in Gwalior. Mine workers quickly responded to the incident with heavy machinery to assist in the rescue. A JCB operated by Prince Kumar Prajapati punctured the truck’s tyres to create breathing space for those trapped. Additional heavy equipment arrived to help lift the truck and rescue the victims.
