Haryana is incentivizing the replacement of older, polluting commercial vehicles in the NCR. Owners scrapping BS-IV and older trucks and buses for new BS-VI, electric, or CNG models can get up to 100% motor vehicle tax exemption for a decade. Those opting for eligible second-hand cleaner vehicles receive a 50% waiver. Outstanding taxes on older vehicles are also waived, offering significant relief and promoting cleaner air.
