In July and October, Delhi Metro faced multiple service suspensions because of protests, leading to a notable decrease in passenger boardings by 6% to 39%. The peak disruption occurred on October 10, when 45 stations were closed. Nevertheless, the DMRC managed to operate 272 trains on those days. Future protests may continue to hinder commuters’ travel plans across the city.
