Recognized for its outstanding community initiatives, the Yacht Club of Hyderabad has made the shortlist for the 2026 World Sailing Impact Award. Founded by Suheim Sheikh in 2009, the club is dedicated to empowering underprivileged kids via sailing. Having trained more than 3,000 children and produced many champions, it seeks public votes to become the inaugural Indian winner, with the results due on November 18 in Qingdao, China.
