A chaotic stampede unfolded at the Sarada Park Durga Puja pandal in north Kolkata due to a crowd surge, leading to injuries for at least 35 attendees, some in serious condition. Emergency services transported the injured to Calcutta Medical College and Hospital for immediate medical assistance. The West Bengal health minister, alongside other political leaders, responded by visiting the scene and the hospital.
