Kolkata’s Sarbartho Mani produced a strong comeback to win silver in the Under-10 Open category at the FIDE World Cadet Cup in Georgia. The 10-year-old finished with 8.5 points, just half a point behind champion Rizat Ulan of Kazakhstan. After slipping to eighth place following his only defeat, Mani won his final two games to secure a podium finish and qualify for the World Cadet Championship.
