Lightning tragically killed two tribal boys and twenty-six animals in Shivpuri district. The boys sought shelter under a tree during heavy rain and were struck. Nine goats belonging to one family also died in the devastating incident. Seventeen buffaloes grazing nearby were killed by a separate lightning strike. Officials are assessing livestock losses for compensation under government norms.
