Initially conceived as a male song for Arijit Singh, the makers felt it didn’t fit Dhoni’s shy persona. Director Neeraj Pandey then suggested a female perspective, a change that ultimately saved the song. Muntashir also shared the song’s deeply personal origin, stemming from a playful remark by his son.
