A tragic incident unfolded at Ghatkopar railway station on Monday morning when 73-year-old Balasubramanium Iyer was fatally struck by a slow local train. The Chembur resident sustained severe head injuries and a severed leg, succumbing to his wounds shortly after being rushed to Rajawadi Hospital. Authorities have registered an accidental death case.
