A 24-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment by a Cuttack Pocso court for the 2021 gang rape of a 16-year-old girl. The court also imposed a Rs 20,000 fine and ordered Rs 5 lakh compensation for the survivor. Evidence established the accused acted in concert with a co-accused, whose trial continues.
