A 40-year-old woman jumped off the roof of an under-construction building at the district hospital in Katni. She and her husband had visited the hospital for their sick child before the incident occurred. Eyewitnesses reported that the couple argued moments before she attempted suicide. The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries and is currently in critical condition. Police will record her statement once her health stabilizes.
