Pope Leo XIV has appointed Rev. Fr. Stephen Fernandes as auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Bombay. Ordained in 1990, Fr. Stephen holds a doctorate in Theology and has served in various capacities, including as executive secretary for the CCBI. His expertise in Church social teaching and medical ethics will be valuable to the archdiocese.
