Auto-rickshaw and taxi fares will increase across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region starting September 1. The minimum auto-rickshaw fare rises to Rs 27 and taxi fare to Rs 33 for the first 1.5 km. Subsequent fares also see an upward revision for both auto-rickshaws and taxis. Revised tariff cards will be used until meters are recalibrated by November 30.
