Rockstar has confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 will ship without generative AI or in-game microtransactions, with co-studio head Rob Nelson answering both questions at an Edinburgh preview. The claim is narrower than it sounds. Traffic, pedestrian and police AI remain intact; only generative tools are out. The Ultimate Edition still costs $20 more than standard. GTA 6 launches 19 November for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
