A digital forensic analysis of Nolan Wells’ phone found Snapchat messages had been deleted after the Mississippi teen last used the device and before his parents received it. Expert Andrew Garrett said he could not determine who deleted the messages or their intent. Attorney Benjamin Crump said some recovered messages showed concerns about people on the island. A grand jury recently found insufficient evidence to bring charges.
