Nolan Wells’ friends have described their final interaction with him before he disappeared from Horn Island on July 4. They say Wells chose to stay with a girl, planned another ride home and left his phone on their boat. His family has questioned that account. Wells was found dead two days later, while the cause of death remains undetermined.
