Senior advocate and BJP member Pitabash Panda was shot dead by two bike-borne miscreants near his Berhampur residence on Monday night. The 50-year-old, also a state bar council member and RTI activist, was fired at from close range. Police are investigating the motive and have launched a manhunt for the assailants.
