In a unified stand, leaders of multiple opposition parties protested in Amritsar against the electoral revision exercise that they fear may disenfranchise countless voters. An effigy of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar was burned in a symbolic act of dissent. The demonstrators insisted on restoring removed votes and called for improved transparency and accountability from the Election Commission, appealing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to uphold voter rights.
