Other side of Asian Games success: 201 athletes won just 6 bronze, 137 returned empty-handed

India’s performance at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games included a total of 85 medals and a fourth-place finish. Despite this achievement, a significant number of athletes returned empty-handed, highlighting areas for improvement. A total of 137 athletes across 16 disciplines failed to secure any medals. Additionally, 201 athletes managed only six bronze medals across 22 disciplines, indicating low efficiency in medal conversion.
